When I turned thirteen I received multiple presents, but the one I have found most useful is a stainless steel water bottle. Water has become one of the most common drinks all over the world, and it is now being referred to as blue gold. With such popularity water bottle companies are making quite a lot of money, and estimates show that 60 million water bottles are thrown away each day in the United States alone. Multiple tests have shown that bottled water is just simply filtered tap water. You can get water from your tap easily without running to the store, and you will save money because you are not buying unnecessary plastic bottles.
Plastic bottles are filling up our landfills. Think about how many bottles you would save if you used a reusable bottle for 40 days. Not only would you be assisting your neighbors in helping to save the earth by not using plastic water bottles, you would also be helping your body. It is a fact that when a water bottle is left in a place for a long period of time such as in a car, chemicals are released into the water, and these chemicals are not good for your body. Not using plastic bottles is also good for your teeth. There is fluoride in tap water and the fluoride helps prevent cavities. So as you can see by using a stainless steel water bottle you are not only helping the earth by reducing unnecessary garbage, but you are also helping yourself to save money and to stay healthy. Stainless steel water bottles are fashionable, cheap, and they actually help your water stay cooler! So I ask you to please join me in reducing water bottle usage, remember you are not only helping yourself, you are also doing your part to help in saving the world!

I agree a lot with this passage. I think that if we start using more of these water bottles, we will save our planet. And I’m saying this because we wont have recycle as much if you know what I’m saying. So lets just say I really like your passage and I hope you write more so I can read it.

Even when people use plastic water bottles (although steel ones are more efficient) people should learn to re-use them for simple things such as watering plants instead of just throwing them away and wasting their money…

I agree with a lot that you said but does putting a filter on your tap clean the water enough to make it OK for your body. It may not do anything to you right away but it could effect you later on from drinking it. All I ask is what are the bad thing that could from tap water if there are some. I have checked that out and found that it might not be as good for you as you think but i could be wrong I will check it out again and I would like you to check it too.

Hi, I’m Tiffany
I blog at blog.ssis.edu.vn/tiffanyh
Your blog is really good. Its hard to disagree with what you’re saying, with all the information you provideds. However using tap water is good, in countries that have clean water. But what about people who cannot get clean water from their taps and their only alternative is to buy bottled water in the store? Then stainless steel bottles wouldn’t be that useful, especially considering a large majority of the people in the world don’t have access to clean tap water.

Hi, I agree with you about the negative impacts of plastic bottles. However I am wondering if the water would be clean enough after putting the filter on the tap. Nevertheless I still agree with your idea of using stainless steel bottles because it is better than using plastic bottles due to the reasons that you have listed in your post.

Wow, I didn’t know that such popularity water bottle companies are making quite a lot of money, and estimates show that 60 million water bottles are thrown away each day in the United States alone. Until now I was using unnecessary plastic bottles and throw away each day. I think I should buy stainless steel water bottle! To help to save the earth by not using plastic water bottles, also be helping your body!

Hi its Lily,
Thank you for posting on my blog! I understand that there are some concerns about what people should do if they live in an area where water is not safe to drink. I was recently introduced to a water bottle brand called “Green Planet”. This water bottle is plastic, but it is made from plant oils which allow it to decompose by itself. So if someone lives in an area where they can not drink their tap water they can just by this brand and they will still be able to go green!
